Tech Writing

It all started one fateful day, while I was taking an hiatus from acting. I was at a LUG (Linux User Group) at the local university, when a gentleman entered the room and said, we’ve started a tech website and are looking for some to build the Linux part of it.

I raised my hand, without hesitation, and said, “That’s me.”

He gave me his contact information and a week later I was writing my very first piece of technical content for TechRepublic. I would continue writing for that publication for twenty years, all the while writing for other publications, such as ZDNET, Linux.com, Ghacks, The New Stack, Bairsdev, Linux Magazine, DevOps.com, and many more.

Instead of linking to specific articles to any of the tens of thousands of articles I’ve written over the years, I’ll add Linux to my page on those sites (if they have them), so you can scroll through and view anything you like.

If you’re a publication, looking to hire Jack, he can cover Linux, open-source, containers, Android, macOS, and many other topics. Please feel free to use the contact form below.

Thank you for taking the time to visit this space.
